once again i have been perusing the ethernet in search of the holy grail of subjects to discuss and i think i have found it.

What's a WUM?

I've always had an uneasy feeling about young Ben. I'm not all together convinced "Ben" isn't some local child and he's being somehow picked on via the other forum but I can't put my finger on why I think that. :?:

A WUM is a wind up merchant! and i don't think ben09 is a child, sometimes his posts are riddled with errors, grammatical and content wise and other times they are word perfect.
sometimes suspicion is a wise tool to have in your box. ;)

Agree with Dave - I answered his post about the field and there was something about his style when he responded that somehow didn't seem quite right - or, more accurately, didn't somehow "feel" like what a youngster would be likely to post ... Can't quite put my finger on it, but the suspicion's there!

You never really know whether people on line are what you think they are. No solution really - unless, as far as these forums (fora?!) are concerned, we get Councillor Hogg to host a posters' rendez-vous at the "Sun" where he can stand us all a free drink on his councillor's expenses! Or even treat us all to one of the new chef's delicious meals ...! Then we'd know!!!

For instance, I have this notion that Adora's a sensual vision of loveliness, but it could just be fevered imagination, I suppose ... I think her seductive choice of nickname probably first sowed the seed of that thought! Ydy Adora yn ferch hardd iawn? Ydy, siwr o fod!

I feel uneasy as well. His posts don't sound like they are from a youngster. :?
