But John, there's LOADS of it! There can't be enough customers in there to buy it all up cheap? Or maybe there's coach loads of porky pensioners arrive every week and they do clear the sale shelves?! :?

NED!

Please can we get that rolling around smilie back from the old forum? You know, the little guy that used to roll from left to right and back again? :clap

I loved that smile! :( It said so much so succinctly! Also, a sceptical "What you on about?" type emoticon might be useful!

Loads indeed, Adora - at least sometimes. But I'm not greedy - I just cast an eye round, every so often when I'm passing, and load up when I see there is loads! I presume that other people do the same when I'm not around. If not, though, maybe "free-gans" might find it profitable to have a poke through the Co-op bins once the store's closed.

Belvoir, if you work in Poynton and can be bothered to trog up to Queensway, you might find it worthwhile to take a look at Morrison's for "sell-by" bargains, as well as the Co-op. Some really good reductions - especially good for fresh fish.

Not in the slightest - life's a ceaseless battle between us and the ravening hordes dedicated, night and day and single-mindedly, to parting us from our brass! Nothing wrong with taking every opportunity to correct the balance ... ! :)
