Travelling by train from Bramhall to Manchester

Postby heatherab » Wed Nov 04, 2009 11:42 am

Hi,

I am thinking of moving to Bramhall but wanted to check if I will get a seat on the train in the morning rush hour travelling to Manchester.

Any advice would be really welcomed.

Many thanks
Heather

Not sure on that isn't everyone trying to get out of Bramhall

If you use B/hall or the Hazel Grove station if your at that end you get Subsidised /cheaper fares from Gmpte if you slide out as far as Poynton the fares rocket  .

There's plenty more trains from the Grove as well if you move nearer that side, and a good size car park, not sure about parking around B/hall station if you need it.

My wife just got the 8.15 from Poynton to Manchester. There was plenty of sitting room at Bramhall.
