Permitted development

Postby Dragon » Wed Oct 14, 2009 2:29 pm

Does anybody know the regulations governing flat roofs and permitted development? I'm looked at building a flat roof extension but am a little confused by the regs suggesting that the maximum eaves height is 3 meters and the maximum height of a single story building is 4 meters. At present the proposed height of the brickwork is just under 3 meters with the flat roof (slight slope to take the rain water off it) sitting on top. Any guidance would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Permitted development has been changed recently, you can find out more from the planning portal and from stockport planning website, although that has been changed as well!...just to confuse!
