Empty or a charity shop at a guess  .

Good luck to whoever takes it on as an investment as Poynton gets back to the good times as economy picks up

A Handmade Card shop.

I see the Ebay shop is closing down tomorrow. So it would appear that some secondhand shops aren't doing too well :?

Why do people find fault with having charity shops in the area? I know for a fact that people come from far afield to visit the Debra Charity shop! :D therefore bringing in revenue for the other shops and cafe's.. :clap

Who said we have a problem with charity shops, maybe it's just a high concentration in a small area, would it not be better for 3 or 4 to club together, share a bigger premises/staffing/bills etc and split the profits :?:

Do you think it's right charity shops should sell lines of new goods i'e cards, gifts etc and not payout the same overheads in rent/rates as the trader/business next door ?

Just a thought i'm not bothered either way, i'm not in competition with them

I think Oxfam do a gig range as well :? , and as for cancer i pretty much gave up giving to them when they built smoking shelters outside christies  , even though i think it's a "deserving" cause try and prioritise :?

The handmade card shop opens tomorrow. Let's wish them all the luck and hope it becomes as successful as I am sure they hope it to be.

Saw them setting up the displays this morning as I walked past on the way to work. Looked very nice from what I could see - and look forward to a proper visit at the weekend.

Best of luck to them!
